What we collect
- Details you give us in forms, the appraisal tool, live chat, WhatsApp, email or by phone: name, phone number, email address, postcode or site address, information about land or the home you are looking for, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Technical information such as the page you sent an enquiry from.
- If you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site, collected by Google Analytics in aggregated form.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry, carry out a site appraisal and discuss a land deal, a home or a partnership: our legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To contact you about new homes if you register your interest: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep records needed for legal, tax and regulatory purposes: legal obligation.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it: your consent to analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed: with other S&K Group companies that help deliver your enquiry; with service providers that act on our instructions, including our website host (Netlify), our form processor (Web3Forms), our live chat provider (tawk.to), WhatsApp (operated by Meta) if you choose to message us there, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google; and with professional advisers or other parties to a transaction when you ask us to proceed. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a deal are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Register-interest details are kept until you ask us to remove them or for up to 36 months without contact. Records relating to a land transaction are kept for as long as needed for legal and tax purposes.
Cookies
The site works without optional cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner; your choice is stored in your browser. Live chat (tawk.to) may set cookies needed to keep a chat session working when you use it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, object to our use of it, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above.
